LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS:
2. BORROWING/RETURNING OF BOOKS
•No book or library materials may be brought out of the library until the check out has been processed.
•Library users are responsible for the safekeeping and return of library materials issued in their name.
•Library materials shall be returned on or before the due date or earlier if the borrower is notified that an item is required by another user.
•Delinquent borrowers are not allowed to borrow any library materials unless library accounts are settled.
lFor delinquent borrowers:
–1st Offense-fine suspension of overnight privileges
–2nd Offense-fine and suspension of borrowing privileges for one week
–3rd Offense-fine and suspension of borrowing privileges for one month
•The library staff at the Circulation Counter will determine official time for determining fines and overdue books and for other purposes.
•Payments for overdue fines and lost library materials should be made at the Cashier’s Office. Receipt for any payment made must be presented to the Circulation Counter in-charge where the book was borrowed.
General Rule
The College Library has instituted some policies in order to preserve the collection and ensure that the library is safe and comfortable environment for all users. Users should be considerate of their fellow library users and abide by the policies, rules and regulations of the library. Some services and collections may have particular policies governing their use.
